A horrible tragedy was averted recently by one very cautious driver at our terminal:
Johnny comes out from school every day bouncing a ball. This day, no Johnny, no big deal, must be home sick. Before pulling away she checks her mirrors and sees a backpack laying on the sidewalk a few from the rear of her bus. Something told her to check it out. She got out and there's Johnny under her bus trying to retrieve his ball!
NEVER move your bus if you see a back pack laying on the ground!
Our manager just told us this Monday ay our safety meeting and it's haunted me ever since.

Good job to mirror-checking driver! That had to be terrifying for her, but it was a good experience for all (including your terminal) and I bet people will remember that for awhile!

Give me a yellow object. Yes. Right now. I need my yellow chocolate, for goodness sake!
