How do you reset the "change oil soon" message on the HUD?

This should be for all maxxforce engines
1. set park brake
2. Turn key on
3. Turn cruise on
4. Turn cruise off
5. Turn cruise on again
6. Very rapidly push the Resume button four times and then hold down on the fifth time for four seconds.
Change oil should clear from odometer window.
From the time the cruise switch is turned on the second time to the fifth activation of the resume switch (must take place within 6 seconds)
if doesn't work the first time it's like shampoo, repeat

What?! No clicking of the heels, patting of the belly or rubbing of the head in simultaneous manner?

I may not know the answer but I can usually find who does.

I think throttle buttons only worked on pre maxforce engines. Will probably need to use a laptop. Hopefully you have one?

Yes we have a laptop and it refuses to clear the codes. We reprogrammed it to shut off the feature but still wont clear the code. It went to the dealer to see if their brainiacs can figure it out.
