Im working on a 2000 IC with a Thomas body, the other day the driver complained of the horn beeping and the interior lights coming on while driving on her route. This typically happens after she shuts the bus down after her route and resets The Child Reminder system. I checked it out and found nothing obvious and it never acted up for me, so i quickly changed out the control module to see if that would take care of it, next day same thing only this time the bus was running at idle warming up and the system started going off. It has The Child Reminder system in the bus, just wondering if anyone else has seen or heard of this problem?!?! Thanks

What is the brand of the child reminder system. The system I use is from BMR and it is called Homebound. I have had similar problems with this system and it has always been a connection of some kind. Most times it is a ground.

the brand is "The Child Reminder". I found a troubleshooting manual for it but nothing for this type of issue.

I'm not familiar with that brand but those weired problems seam to be related to a ground or a loose connection.

http://www.schoolbusfleet.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21762 Is this the manual you speak of? I would check the diodes on the front and rear.
