Hi all have a 2002 bluebird f.e. 5.9l cummins isb.At idle motor will cut out and come back to normal.chek engine light may flash,get a code SPN 190 rpm speed issue.Waiting for better info on this unit so any help would be great.
did change cmp sensor.to no avail.Thank you Scott

Hi Scott,

Without looking, I think that leads to the CKP sensor and circuit. It's in the left side of the block usually behind the starter, the CMP is under the VP44 pump. If you can, scope the signal to verify it's bad - most of the time I find it is the sensor and not a connection.

If it doesn't break when you try to pull it out go buy a lottery ticket, when it does break don't try to short change it, just drop the oil pan and knock it out with a punch.
