New Mexico - A lawsuit against Bernalillo Public Schools says one bus driver went too far.
The Albuquerque Journal reported Tuesday that Ray Romero, a teacher in the district, was trying to entertain the kids on the bus when he drove at a high rate of speed and hit some speed bumps, which caused an 8-year-old to bounce out of her seat and slam into the ceiling.
The parents of the girl are suing the district for compensation for medical bills as well as other damages they say they suffered.
The district has not commented on the suit.
