I am going to be taking a school bus on a multi state trip, I have been told by another bus driver, who was a truck driver, that I would have to keep a log book, and would have to stop at all weigh stations.
I am driving from Arkansas to Atlanta GA.

If you are a School District employee driving a District owned School Bus, identified as such, I don't believe you'll have any issues when driving by state scales, etc. Log books are generally considered to be those in interstate or intrastate commerce, i.e.; commercial bus and truck drivers (those that make money from the transport of oggds, or people). Have a safe trip.

Have a safe trip and enjoy! Are you deadheading a bus, or passengers? I used to love those deadhead trips..."On the road again" all the way :-) |
