How does your operation use the media (print/broadcast/other) to convey a positive image of the school bus industry to the public? Some examples are running driver recruitment ads on cable TV stations, sponsoring billboards with school bus safety messages, etc.

I have not seen many Public spots on the TV!

This summer First Student had a TV commercial for driver recruitment in the Indianapolis area.

For Print, the only thing I see is ad's for driver recruitment.

Sometime when the school year is about to begin, the local TV stations will feature the mechanics "getting the buses ready". This is a little silly, because we provide summer school and summer camp buses all during the summer. The days of the buses sitting all summer are ancient history! Still, we'll take all the "good" press we can get!!
