The dispatcher position in my District ranges from $10.42 - $14.35. With experience a new person can come in and start at 3rd step which is $11.31. This is the wage for this year and it will go up on July 1st. The Dispatcher is also a year round position. Our district does not have a safety position. hope this helps. I would guess that the salary for any given position would depend heavily on the region where you are employed. Rural PA would not pull the same wages as metro NY or LA. Check Hot Jobs.com or yahoo jobs. They have salary guides based on locality.

rswboe is correct on the area you might live in. Are you looking for the salary range with a contract company or a School District?

I would be interested in hearing from both contract company or school district. While I know that salary range varies from region to region, I would be interested in hearing from you all wherever you might be!.

Thanks
