With fuel prices rising. Is your company/district taking measures to conserve fuel and save money? Such as less warm up time. or idling at layovers Or even combining bus routes.
We already have reduced idling times due to air quality requirements. Next week we will be going to low sulfur fuel for our type I buses. The costs keep on rising.
Hey guys, you don't know what high diesel costs are over there! UK retail pump price for low sulphur diesel per UK gallon is $5.50 and big fleet trade price around $4.60. Liquid gold.....!!!
Rising fuel cost is hurting everyone, for some time our gerneral manager has been asking us to reduce the amount of time the bus is allowed to idle and no idling when on school grounds. Ray The Bus Guy
