I have a 2010 Vision with the electric stop arm that doesn't want to deploy when the W/L are engaged normally or with the emergency override switch. Lights flash normally as well. When you pull out on the stop arm, the electric motor starts pulling it back to the stowed position and then stops normally. Any ideas to what this might be?
You'd have to go into Blue Bird Vantage with the body number to see how they wired it up, but it sounds like either the blue wire going into the stop arm is not seeing 12 volts to activate the arm.
If it is getting that signal, the internal switch/motor assembly has failed.
Thank you Thomasbus24. The wire did have the correct voltage to activate the arm, but I found out after more testing that the solid state module was faulty. I replaced the module and it all went back to normal again.
