Good morning , replacing a High Pressure Fuel Pump on a 2009 International PB105 school bus with a MAXXFORCE Engine , wondering if there’s any timing procedures with the pump or engine when doing this job ,Thank You .

Nope its just a pressure pump. May I ask how you determined the pump was bad ? Codes for high pressure when commanded low or stalling ?

Our 2010 Maxforce DT engines do not use a high pressure fuel pump that typical on a common rail fuel system. They do use a high pressure oil pump. The high pressure fuel pump on the 2008 Cat C7 common rail engines is timed and will not run properly unless timed.
