Good morning , have a 2006 International CE200 school bus with a VT365 , have an active code , component is transmission , code is Turbine Speed Sensor performance,anyone have this issue or know where the sensor is , Thanks , look up code is PO716 .

There are three speed sensors, one in front (input), one in middle (turbine), one in rear (output). Middle one. It's on the left side, close to the top. The hardest one to change, so of course it's the one that always fails.

See it up there over top of the plate that covers the PTO option?

Be careful with the bolt, if it snaps you will say some bad words.

top left side of the transmission is 3 sensors. Input speed sensor, above the torque converter, turbine speed sensor, center of the trans body, and output speed sensor. near the tail shaft.

Check the wiring from the connector to about 2 feet into the harness also. They are famous for breaking wires inside the casings.

I've replace a couple of good sensors on the transmissions over the years and ended fixing a wire later after pulling my hair out.
