Is anyone aware of a review done on small (29 passenger or less) busses? Comparing safety records, crash test etc...???

The only thing I saw was a news report about Type A buses Vs. Vans on NBC Nightly News a few months back.

If you're looking for safe, reliable, and durable, look at the 29 passenger conventional buses from all the major players(Bluebird-International-Thomas). They cost a bit more that the type "A" "wanna be" buses, but last forever! Joe

Bus Boy,
Re-read what wagonmaster posted, he said if you are looking for a 29 passenger bus, go with a 29 passenger conventional from the major players, that being Thomas, Blue Bird and International, He is talking about a standard conventional, type "c", not type "a" bus.
"America's #1 Conventional School Bus- Thomas/International."
