Hi All,
Was hoping I could get some info from both vetran drivers and management staff union and non - union. I have been asked to sit on an accident review committee, which assess points and discipline to drivers on accidents is there anyone with a current policy that could help me out.The policy we currently have is not working and we are trying to get a better policy in place.
Our drivers are currently not assessed fairly there has to be a better way.
Thanks Trainer-Rep-VP-2048

Welcome and good luck! You have a worthy task.

I have seen some very help posts and sites referred to, many of which have shown up on this very forum. I know you'll get some good help.

John Farr passed along an excellent template for Accident Review Committee protocols on January 9th in this forum. I don't know how connect to that thread, but it would be worthwhile to find it. LM

Committee should include a Supervisor, a Trainer, a Union Rep, and different drivers should go to the different meetings----If at all possible you should include your Insurance Representative on the committee. A re-training session of up to an hour (paid) should be given to all those accidents that are found to be preventable by the committee.-----Good Luck
