I drive a 1996 Blue Bird TC2000 and the gas gauge is screwed up, along with the speedometer.
When i drive my bus, the speedometer flys to 75 mph and then if i slap the cluster with my hand, the needle wiggles and then goes back to 75 mph.
Then the gas gauge is all screwed up to. It tells me that i am running out of fuel and when i slap the cluster with my hand it goes back to half full or three-fourths full or full.
It's really starting to piss me off, and im wondering if GM made really crappy gauges and faulty wiring. Did GM do a crappy job of making more clusters?
I understand that the bus is old and the cluster might be worn out, but ive asked another bus driver in my district who has a 1997 TC2000 and he says since the bus was new it has been screwed up.
It just recently has started doing that, and the mechanic is away on a trip so i couldnt ask him what was wrong.
Do any of you have the same problem with the dash?

Check the wiring on the back of the cluster.
