Hey guys, Been a awhile since I've been on here, Used to be bbird66 years ago then something else that I cannot remember so I created another username! lol. So hello again!

I've got a 6.5 liter with the oil pressure issue and wondering if anyone else has had the same thing. Runs fine until it gets warm then the viscosity gets low and pressure drops to low for the pump driver to keep it going. I've heard and read where the cam bearings in those were prone to wearing out prematurely and thats the underlying problem. I think the volume is there just the pressure drops. It only has 140K on it and I sure dont want to rebuild this 99. So I've changed the oil but this time put about 1/2 of the capacity in of Lucas oil treatment and it seems to be working to keep the oil press up. Has anyone delt with this before? Oh and I've changed out the oil pressure switch. Thanks guys!
