Hi guys, I found a Motorola CDM 750 radio yesterday. I hooked it up and it works but doesn't pick up my local schools. I understand they can be programmed to work on different frequencies. The schools all supply our radios for the contract buses so I am getting rid of it. Before I e-bay this thing if anyone is looking for one let me know.

VHF 136-174 MHz
UHF 403-470 MHz, 450-512 MHz

I would have your radio guy take out your freqs. before you sell it. Is it the new narrow band or is it the old style?

I don't have a radio guy and yes it's the new style. Not the old maxxtrax. That PDF link above has a picture and the specs.

I went to the link and saw the pic but didn't look at it too hard. I'm sorry you don't have a radio man. It comes in quite handy sometimes. You really need to have someone take the freqs. out of them though because you'll have people on your channel if you don't. I/ we have went as far as to scramble our freq.

It gets kind of dicey around here sometimes when repairing and such because in addition to the mobiles (in bus) I have several hand helds for the janitors and administration.
