Hello! I just started working part time on buses for a medium size school system in GA. We have been working on a 2005 model Thomas FS65 with a mbe in it. The coolant had to be refilled everyday, so mechanic suspected EGR cooler and replaced, but leak remained. Also replaced the coolant pipe that runs into the back of the engine, and it still is leaking. Are there any other possibilities beside the head gasket? The bus has around 130k miles.

Pressure up the system 10 psi with shop air. Or just look over the de-airing tank (often called an overflow) for leaks. Very common. What's the coolant look like? Rusty?

Thanks for the reply. We think we found it. One of the heater hoses that runs through the body was leaking and somehow was running off the back of the engine/transmission. Fixed the hose and sent the bus on a route today with no complaints. Hopefully that got it.
