Some of our VT365's have had the code 525 with only some injectors having low to high side open before.. I'll bet good money you checked the main power and grounds and yadda yadda yadda...some times the three wire connector that gives the IDM power right by the starter maybe the cause or the last bus we had with the code 525 was a problem with The IDM itself, weather it be an internal short or whatever... Once you exhausted all options and can't find why 525 is active..I'd say have the IDM replaced!

Check the entire electrical path from the batteries to the IDM relay closely. The smart thing to do is feel them all when the bus has been running a while to check for heat at the connections. We have been having a lot of problems with the harnesses at the batteries (the connections at the harness that was recalled before), the next harness forward, and the IDM relay base. We have also had several bad IDM's lately too. The ones we have had lately are having a hard start, or lighting a check engine light when the bus is started, but the bus is running OK. After a while, the light goes out.

we have 182 buses with the VT365. Suspect every wiring connection in the IDM circuit. Also the IDM. We melt the IDM relay wiring alot @ the connector also. JUNK! Its bad when your drivers feel more secure driving a sub bus thats a 1990 thru 1995 model than a 2005/2006 with a VT under the hood.
