Silas J. 97-12 It will outrun your bus
Our district has 22 buses currently in daily use. The 11 spare buses are seldom used, but they're in good shape and pass state inspection. The oldest spare buses are the 84-passenger 1984 Blue Bird All Americans. These buses are only used on routes, and hardly ever go out of town. I'll be using one of these spares on a route next week... Bus #35, which is the same bus I rode to school on from 3rd grade until I got my car in high school. Talk about bringing back memories! It's hard to generalize the condition of a bus just by its age alone. It usually depends on how well the bus has been treated.
