If its above 45 deg bus will start fine. has anyone used a block heater on this vintage? If so what type, example {magnetic} or just freeze plug type?

grid heater working in the intake , and ours came with them from factory frost plug style and oil pan heaters
with HUEI if you can't build oil pressure it will not start , I got drivers skipping the wait to start and do short turn overs of 5 sec crank then wait 5 sec or so until oil pressure can be made then they wait for the grid heater before really trying to start
