i have a 2016 c2 cummins 6.7 i am getting a code 2555 intake heater high voltage i am looking for the relay for it is it the big solenoid on the firewall or is there a micro relay somewhere?

yes it is, looks like an IH body solenoid , sometimes they break(the grid itself) and grounds out on intake also

OEM trained in wiring and all engine platforms for over 20 years

how would i twst the intake heaterohms ground to heater?

unhook power wire from solenoid that feeds the grid and test that wire to engine ground or leave that wire on and cross a screwdriver across the post and if it arcs bad then its grounded

Not to highjack this thread but might anyone know what year 6.7's are affected with the "Killer Bolt" that gets loose in the grid heater and usually destroys the #6 cylinder? Is it even an issue with the 6/7's in a bus platform?? I know I have read many horror stories from the Ram crowd!!

usually the grid itself breaks but have seen these pieces in the intake almost into engine, seen too many techs use an electric driver to install just relax and use a ratchet
