I have a 04 FE 300 with a DT466 . The last few mornings the engine has bucked and shut down on the driver . So I thought check fuel filter . It was dirty so I changed it . While idling it bucked once but not engine lights . So I hooked up my laptop and got a 3 inactive codes . One is 421 saying low side to high side open Then a 147 saying incorrect ckp signal signature . The last one is 221 cruis control switch circuit fault .So could I have a bad injector and a bad BAP sensor ? And if I have a bad BAP sensor where is it ?
1.421 is an injector code for #1 2.The ckp code could be rust scale under sensor and ow it is pushed up a little and the gap is too large, one would remove the sensor and hit mating surface with a punch it will not scale off the reinstall and see it 147 comes back, seen this a couple times 3. the cruise control switch fault should not effect engine performance- does it work for fast idle if it does forge about if it does not work then switch or wiring

Okay how do you replace the crank sensor on these FE 300 . Is there a trick to this do you do it from above or underneath . Blue nozer you said hit it with a punch ? Where id you mean and where do you strike it
