I do not have servicemaxx and I have a fault 3251-21 on the dash and the engine light on. Anyone know what the fault is for and what to look for? Thanks!

Thanks, Bluenozer! I'm suspecting a failed DPF, it just started smoking and driver said it started sucking fuel this week. Can you let me know what site you used to get that info?

You need to get your dealer to set you up with an OnCommand login...there's a section there where you can enter fault codes for help.

The school buses here in Nova Scotia are run by the government, so we have dealer level software and customer logins for oem like ISIS and DTNA. Your local stealership for IC or Freightshaker should be able to hook you up with customer logins for these sites. And a simple web search can get you all the software for free( or join a forum for under$100) and no expire date, just have to know computers to get them running, lots of videos on utube that show hows it done.

Ill have to see If I can get them to set me up with OnCommand. We only have two Maxxjunk's in our fleet so the district will not let me get any software specifically for them such as ServiceMaxx. I would like to have DLB, ServiceMaxx, and Bodybuilder software, which I worked extensively with along with DDDL and a few others at my previous job where we also had dealer level software. Its nice to have that stuff when you purchase 500-700 trucks a year, but now I'm a little guy so I have to work with what I have. I did finally get the district to get me INSITE because we have 8 Cummins powered buses and counting. Thanks for the info!
