I HAVE A QUESTION BOUT MY 2007 INTERNATIONAL 3200 WITH A MAXXFORCE DT. IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO START AS IF NO FUEL PRESSURE. I NOTICED WHEN I TOOK OFF THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING IT IS NOT FULL. THE PRIMER PUMP SEEMS NOT TO HELP ALSO.I DO HAVE 3 CODES.
1. ENGINE FUEL VALVE 1 POSITION DATA ERRATIC, INTERMITTENT, OR INCORRECT
2. ENGINE FUEL DELIVERY PRESSURE DATA VALID BUT BELOW NORMAL OPERATIONAL RANGE.
3. ENGINE INJECTION CONTROL PRESSURE DATA VALID BUT BELOW OPERATIONAL RANGE.
I HAVENT HOOKED UP A FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE TO THE FILTER HOUSING YET, BUT WHEN IT IS STARTED AND RUNNING THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS. BUT IF I TURN IT OFF AND THEN TRY TO RESTART RIGHT AWAY, IT WILL NOT START OR TAKES A LONG TIME AGAIN. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

ALSO THE DASH SYMBOL THAT HAS AIR PASSING THROUGH, IS THAT AND EGR LIGHT OR COOLER LIGHT? WHAT PROBLEM IS THAT AND HOW CAN I FIX THAT ISSUE AT THE SAME TIME.

so does the engine start hard/ crank along time only when hot? or does it start just as hard after parked, say overnight and the engine is cold? unless i read wrong it is happening when engine is warmed up. as for the light you described if it has a series of dots up and down and looks like air/exhaust blowing thru it, generaly would mean the DPF system needs to be regened/cleaned. normally if it is on solid it means the vehicle can be driven at highway speeds above 45mph for 20 min ( no stopping or slowing below 45,) until light goes out. or you can do a parked regen with switches on dash as long as the light is on. should have had instructions some where in driver area for what lights are for, and regen procedures. if that light is flashing you would normally have to do a parked regen
