| We have a 2005 IC with some odd elecrical problems. It started out with the clearence lights sticking on with the key off. the next thing was a buzzing in the light moniter or ELMO after using the 8-ways. Now it has no headlights, dim or bright and the clearance lights blinked with the turn signals. I went through all of the wiring, breakers, relays, etc. No problems. Used the turn switch and headlights switch from another bus with no results.Finaly pulled the ESC from another bus and put it in to test,headlights started working normaly as well as all the other lights.So ordred and installed a new ESC, had International program it. With key off or on but engine not running headlights work normaly, as soon as the engine is started headlights go out after about 2 minutes. Unhooking the power cable to the ESC will allow the built in virtual fuse to reset. Tried an ELMO out of another bus and that didn't work. Now I can not get the ESC to reset at all. No headlights and constant buzzing in the ELMO. |

| check the wiring at the headlite connectors under the hood, most likely frayed wires shorting out,from rubbing on the rad support rubber shields,,very common |

| Thanks, I did check all of that. In Iknow search there is two topics one that talkes about the pinch points around the radiator also putting in pieces of tie strap in the conectors on the ESC. I have followed the wires everywhere possible. |

| I found a short where the light monitor mounted. You couldn't see it once the monitor was removed but one terminal was just barely touching the edge of the mounting surface. |
If it doesn't fit, FORCE it.
If it breaks, well, it needed replacing anyway.
