Ok the main problem with brake wear were having is with our 07'-08' 29 passenger buses with air brakes. When it comes time for a brake inspection the driver side front brakes are extremely low... the rest are ample and can go another 5-10k with ease.. First thought is the slack adjusters.. they all are at the same adjustment point and nothing is amiss...no over adjusted or super loose ones...they are always greased and well kept... there is also no pull or dragging when the brakes are applied! maybe the pads from the supplier had a bad batch? all of our the 29 pass. air brake buses do this... Any Ideas?
i thought it could've just been the driver weighing down the front...haha
if brake parts are all ok and 3 of four wheels are all wearing similar ck air pressure with gauge to each wheel could be a air valve malfunction and that wheel is doing more work. more than 1 bus doing this and have they been doing since new?
