Engine idm postive feed fuses keep blowing
Had no start problem, dead to starter, replaced starter
same issue no start.
checked starter relay, good
than checked feed fuses, that's when i found idm fuse blown.
Tried to replace and shorted out before i can push blades in
holder. This is really getting to me as it's out in a satelite
lot and it's over an hour each way, and it's freaking cold out! |

Been there. Twice. Found the feed wire shorted out on the frame.
Not on IC buses tho. One was a 2000 2554 and the other was a 2007 7400. |
If it doesn't fit, FORCE it.
If it breaks, well, it needed replacing anyway.
Pullin' wrenches for 45 years. |

Rightious gentleman, as soon as the other mech shows off to the frozen tundra i go

found ecm ,idm wires grounded out, rubbed through, and the other mech told me he was out there last week, seems he'd mignt smoked the wires cranking it
but know after repairing, I have no power, test drove falls flat on it's face, throws no codes
at the time, going to run inj tests today, anyone gota a clue, ECM? INJ Harness? |
