I have had great success with a "School Bus Awareness Course" that I have formulated and prepared. The course consists of a set of 10 rules, daily rule discussions, on board, with student participation, for 4 days a week, for 4 weeks. After that, EVERYONE knows the rules, and for the most part, they are followed. In some cases, I have actually heard students "reminding" other students of the rules that they are breaking. All this with no prompting from me. This is in no way is a PERFECT system, but it is something. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more. Just reply to this topic, or email me at jeffcarver@carvercentral.com.
PS.. There is no cost for this. Just something one bus driver has found, and freely passing on to others. |

Hey Buslady, take the period off the end. That might be what is messin' ya up. Instead of carvercentral.com. - just drop off the red mark when you click on it.
